Managing Director of Synagie, the leading E-commerce Enabler in SEA, Olive is responsible for the operations of the Group’s commerce business in the region. As of 2022, Synagie is located in 6 markets, works with 600 brand partners and employs more than 400 full time employees across SEA.
Olive has more than 20 years of experience in the FMCG & Retail industry in Asia Pacific. Beginning her career at Johnson & Johnson as a management trainee in 1998. She rose through the ranks and embraced different roles from sales to data analytics to trade marketing. In 2009, she joined Bausch & Lomb as its Regional Customer Development Director. Watsons Singapore invited Olive to join them as Trading Director in 2011 and in her tenure, soon triple hatted, leading both the Pharmacist Division and the Space Management Teams as well.
In 2015, Olive finally embraced her entrepreneurial inner child to boldly set up Beautiful Me, an ecommerce marketplace specializing in the BBB (Body, Beauty, Baby) sector working with many top FMCG brands in Singapore. In 2016, she pivoted the business to Synagie which she has nurtured to become the present day driving force behind SEA’s digital commerce transformation.
A proud mother of 2 beautiful girls, she is also the founding and current ex-co member of SG-WEN (Women Entrepreneur Network) set up to promote and facilitate greater collaboration between and support for women business leaders in Singapore.
Executive Director of Synagie and Head of Corporate Affairs, she oversees the Group’s growth, business development & corporate affairs.
