Customer Business Development – Heart of Synagie

As part of Customer Business Development team for Omni Channel, you are expected to plan, operate and synergize both offline and online channels in order to deliver sales target, optimize profitability, and continuously develop omni-channel capabilities. Reporting to Commercial Lead and equipped with openness to learn, enthusiasm and tenacity, your primary responsibilities are:

  1. Develop and build Omni Channel Experience
  2. Understand and leverage touchpoints for business development across Omni channel which consists of Online/e-Com : Lazada, Shopee, Tokopedia, Blibli, Bukalapak, , Offline : retailers like Watsons, Guardians, department stores, supermarkets, baby fairs and pop up stores etc
  3. Develop, align with principle and implement channel portfolio strategies, go-to-channel routes and promotional plans to achieve mutually agreed business goals
  4. Constantly learning about omni channel to enhance experience for customers to their consume
  5. Key account management for online & offline Channel
  6. Conduct regular meetings and quarterly business review with customer(s) and channels to ensure business progress and alignment towards agreed goals
  7. Custodian of trade investments and promotional claims to enable business development
  8. To conduct advance planning and gain alignment on business activities with customers and channels
  9. To execute and review agreed plans on channels’ seller centres (online) and offline retailers with entrepreneurship mentality to drive business target
  10. To manage all channels’ seller centres from trade activities to ensuring strong seller’s store ratings
  11. To conduct post activity / promotion analysis so as to improve and enhance forward plans
  12. Pitch and negotiate with channels’ category manager to maximize brand’s exposure and visibility
  13. Business Custodian for Synagie
  14. Understand assigned customer(s) P&L and identify areas for growth / improvements
  15. Negotiate trade terms and margins with customer to achieve win-win scenario
  16. Prepare analysis and presentations in preparation for any trade / channel negotiations
  17. Business Expansion Support
  18. Identify potential customers’ leads based on the unique enabler provided by Synagie Omni Channel team
  19. To prepare for pitches and develop new businesses
  20. To constantly innovate for solutions to enhance our Omni Channel offerings and attract new customers

  22. Hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline of study
  23. Experience in online e-commerce or/& offline key account or distributor management
  24. Enthusiastic to learn and be involved in the Omni-channel retail revolution. (3 – 5 years)
  25. Possesses entrepreneurial spirit, strong commercial acumen and get things done attitude.
  26. Possess good communication skills and able to work in a fast paced but nurturing environment.
  27. A team player.
